Yin yoga is a restorative type of yoga with many therapeutic uses; assisting insomnia, infertility, and digestion as well as reducing stress, improving mobility, flexibility and posture.  Practicing yin yoga helps prepare both the mind and body for meditation.  So this class is a beautiful combination of two practices that compliment one another.  

Practiced in a dimly lit, warmed room - we'll use a variety of floor based yoga postures to open the hips, spine, neck + shoulders which will provide the space and ease to sit in meditation.

Each week will have a specific focus with some guided meditation, over the course of the series, students will work towards sitting in silence using techniques learned in class.  

Absolute Beginners Welcome. All equipment provided. 9 week Series $180. Students are eligible to do ONE make up class during the series.
